London born set and production designer Piers Hanmer brings a distinct, conceptual vision to his work. He is a frequent contributor to W, Italian, French, British, American Vogue and AnOther Magazine, and has created unique sets for the campaigns of Calvin Klein, Gap, Jil Sander, Armani, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Dior.

Hanmer is based in New York and has worked closely with Annie Leibovitz, with whom he got his start. He collaborates regularly with Craig McDean, Willy Vanderperre and Cass Bird on a variety of editorials and advertising campaigns.
